This privacy policy applies to all apps published by Macabu. We believe in keeping things simple and transparent.

No accounts required

Our apps do not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide personal information to use them.

Your data stays on your device

Where possible, all data generated by our apps is stored locally on your device. We do not upload, sync, or transmit your data to external servers unless a specific feature explicitly requires it and you have given permission.

No selling of personal data

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. We have no interest in monetising your information.

Location data

Some of our apps may request access to your location. Location data is used solely to provide the intended feature functionality. It is not stored on our servers, tracked over time, or shared with anyone.

No tracking or analytics

Our apps do not include third-party analytics, advertising frameworks, or tracking tools by default. We do not monitor how you use our apps.

Permissions

Any permissions requested by our apps (such as location, camera, or notifications) are used only for the feature they support. You can disable any permission at any time through your device settings.

Uninstalling

Uninstalling a Macabu app removes all locally stored data associated with that app from your device.

Australian Consumer Law

We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles and relevant provisions of the Australian Consumer Law. If you have concerns about how your data is handled, you have the right to contact us or lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
